Dr. Anziano graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1996. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Windsor where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During his 15 years in practice, Dr. Anziano has served as vice-president of the Greater Hamilton Chiropractic Society, as well as community spokesperson for the Ontario Chiropractic Association. He was a regular guest speaker at McMaster University in the Occupational Health and Safety Program, where he tought physicians and nurses about occupational lower back pain.
Dr. Bozzo is a 2001 graduate of the National University of Health Sciences. In addition to his chiropractic training, Dr. Bozzo also received a postgraduate diploma in acupuncture. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brock University where earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a degree is Physical and Health Education. Born and raised in Hamilton, Dr. Bozzo has a special interest in the treatment of chronic pain conditions and sports injury management.
Adam Oakes is a recent graduate of Brock University, holding a 4 year Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree with First Class Standing. He brings with him over a decade of exercise and physical fitness experience, as well as rehabilitation experience from Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. In addition to serving our patients through his expertise in active rehabilitation, Adam has also completed training in the operation of our DTS Spinal Decompression Table and is responsible for the supervision of treatment using this exciting new therapy.
Sue has been a Registered Massage Therapist with our clinic since 2007. She is a graduate of CDI College and a member of both the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario. She has previous training in healthcare and continues to expand her knowledge and further her education on advanced massage techniques. Sue is experienced in treating clients with a variety of health concerns and is appreciated by clients seeking both deeper treatments and relaxation treatments. Some conditions Sue specializes in treating are: headaches, back pain, sprains/strains, motor vehicle accidents, anxiety/stress and pregnancy aches and pains.
Leanne graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1995. She completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Leanne is also a Certified Hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnotherapy. Leanne worked at St. Joseph's hospital and owned her own private practice for over 10 years before joining our Eastmount team.
Before studying massage therapy, Terryn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Brock University, where she realized her passion for massage and how it can benefit a person's overall physical health and emotional well-being. Terryn then graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto where she was able to complete her massage program in one year due to her previous education and accomplishments in Kinesiology. Her massage studies focused on repetitive strain injuries, myofascial release techniques, pregnancy and sports massage, as well as many outreach clinics for those with chronic pelvic pain and multiple sclerosis.
Monica Shields graduated from CDI HamiltonMountain campus and has been practicing for 6 years. Monica thoroughly enjoys helping her clients achieve their massage therapy goals whether it's relaxation, recovery from injury or muscle strain. Continuing education is a priority and therefore Monica has added techniques including hot stone massage, thai massage, myofascial and deep tissue massage to her massage therapy skill set. Monica is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario. In addition to massage, Monica enjoys country life, her family and traveling.
